SCHOOL BUS INFORMATION
The CQSB offers eligible students complimentary school transportation services aiming to deliver equitable and time-efficient services to the best of our ability.
Students who qualify for school transportation under the school transportation eligibility policy are automatically registered for morning and evening transportation unless they are registered for daycare services.
Returning students are generally assigned the same bus arrangements as the previous year; however, changes to stops or routes may occur, and cannot be guaranteed to stay the same.
2025-2026 NEW SCHOOL YEAR BUSING INFORMATION
The school transportation services team works diligently each year, starting from the registration period, to finalize bus stops and routes in time to provide official information by mid-August.
Throughout the summer, parents receive several updates via email until the finalized details are available. If you don’t see an email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder.
STUDENT ELIGIBILITY & SCHOOL CATCHMENT AERAS
Eligible students are those residing within the catchment area of the school they attend.
To confirm if your residence falls within the correct territory, use the "Find Your School" link available on our website. Please note that bus zones may not fully cover the school's catchment area, and exceptions may apply. For more information, please refer to our transportation policy.
For schools outside the Québec City region, transportation is managed by the local Centre de services scolaire, following their transportation policy.
If your address finds itself outside your child’s school territory, you will
not be eligible for transportation service.

SCHOOL BUS SAFETY
The school bus is an extension of the school, where all school and bus safety rules remain in effect. Our bus drivers are responsible for ensuring students travel safely, and their authority must be respected.
If a student misbehaves on the bus, the driver will file a bus report, which is then reviewed by transportation services. A copy of the report is emailed to parents while the school is in copy.
These reports serve as an important communication tool, allowing us to track behaviours and incidents so they can be addressed promptly. For more information, please refer to our policy.
Students are responsible for their behaviour while riding the school bus and must follow the School Bus Rules. Failure to do so may result in the loss of transportation privileges.
Riding the Bus is a Privilege not a Right!
For more information on how you can help your child understand the rules and regulations, please refer to the SCHOOL BUS SAFETY links.
